SimpleMap Updates

Thank you so much to everyone who has commented or emailed with errors and feature suggestions. It has helped me fix a lot of things I would not have seen otherwise!

Also, a big thank you to Thorsten and Fernando for the German and Spanish translations, respectively. These will be included in the 1.0.6 release tonight.

With the huge amount of comments and emails coming in, I’ve decided to make a more concrete development plan for SimpleMap. I’ll keep a running list of upcoming fixes & features on the SimpleMap page. This does mean that some fixes might not happen as quickly as they have been in the past few days, but I will certainly respond to any comments and emails right away, and hopefully with a temporary workaround for any bugs.

There have been a lot of feature requests that concern having a map with a single location. In the next month or so, I plan on releasing SimpleMap Solo. It will have all the ease of use that SimpleMap does, but provide better features for managing a single location.

Again, thank you all for your support! 1.0.6 will go live tonight, so keep an eye out for it!

  1. Wow, girl. You just never cease to amaze me!

First, the cool WordPress plugin, then a complete redesign of your blog.

  2. LOL.

Yeah, I know what you mean. My venting mechanism of choice is Halo3.

I did not peg you as a gamer! That’s awesome. :) I tried Halo3, but I didn’t get enough of a chance to actually play since I kept getting one-shotted by 12-year-olds.

  3. Mean little suckers, those 12 year olds. LOL
